General information:

3800 m swimming in the mining lake of Gyékényes:

Start: by running into the water. The swimming course consists of three 1270 m long laps. At the end of the first and second lap racers must exit the water and run 10 meters ashore in order to start the next lap 

Using neoprene swim dress is only allowed under a water temperature of 24 °C. Official temperature one hour before the start. Expected water temperature is between 21-25 °C

Time limit: :2 hours 20 minutes to start cycling

180 km cycling:

Mining lake of Gyékényes – Csurgó –  Iharosberény – Böhönye – Nagybajom - Kutas - Beleg - Ötvöskónyi - Segesd -Nagyatád City Swimming Pools, then a three laps course with three turning points between Nagyatád – detour road around Nagyatád – Segesd on a medium quality roadway with partial road closure. 

The course is crossed by four railroads, therefore time crediting is possible. 

During the cycling racers must comply with the rules of the Highway Code.

Altitude difference: 640 m

Personal aiding is only allowed in the race center and at the area after the turning point at the Dolo Restaurant.

Time limit: 9:15 hours to start the last lap of the cycling course.

42,195 km running:

Race center – Downtown of Nagyatád – Race center

The running track is 5250 meters long, it takes 8 laps around it to complete the marathon. During each lap racers go through the race center.

The running takes place on a good quality road and cast stone pavement that are blocked from traffic. 

Altitude difference: negligible. It is forbidden to accompany or follow racers on the track. 

Personal aiding is permitted throughout Zrínyi Street and at the designated aid stations of Atád Áruház and Park Hotel. 

Time limit: 10 hours and 30 minutes to start running, 12 hours and 30 minutes to start the 4. running lap, 

  and 14 hours and 30 minutes to start the 7. running lap, 15 hours and 50 minutes to start the last lap.

  Closing the race course: at midnight!

Important information:

The venue of swimming can be approached and left without restrictions till 7:40 am. Parking is only possible for the designated parking places. The parking place will be closed between 7:40 am and 9:20 am, then between 9:40 am and 10:30 am.

The traffic will be detoured by the organizer in order to ensure the safety of the racers on the bike track. This detour road will follow the following route: Zákány – Zákányfalu – Somogybükkösd – Porrogszentkirály. 

Following racers by car is forbidden!

In case the racer’s health condition is evaluated by the medical team as inadequate, he or she must cease the racing as instructed by the race judge and must turn in their race number. 

Participation in the Nagyatád eXtremeMan 2022 is only allowed with a valid license for indidviduals!

The rules of the Hungarian Triathlon Union’s manual applies on all racers, including relay teams.  

Drafting is strictly forbidden! Breaking this rule will lead to a blue card and a 5 minutes long Penalty box stay after the lap. The penalty box will be executed in the Race center directly before the chip carpet. Staying in the penalty box is the responsibility of the racer. If he/she doesn't stay in the penalty box, he/she will be disqualified. In case of a second blue card the racer will be disqualified.

Protest fee: 10.000 HUF.

In the individual’s race only those can participate, who were born in the year 2002 or earlier.

In case of bad weather conditions, the start can be delayed.

Racers who have entered the competition will get a race number, a swimming cap, and if he or she doesn’t have a personal (yellow) chip, then a white chip required for timing at the registration office. 

In case the racer has his own personal (yellow) chip and he or she registered its code number in advance, he or she can use that during the race.

For receiving the white chip racers need to pay 1000 HUF rent fee and an additional 1000 HUF caution fee, which they will get back after the race when they return the chip.

For identification and to distinguish all competitors, all racers will receive a wristband that they are recommended to wear.  All racers wearing the wristband can enter the City Swimming Pool and can participate on the Pasta party on Friday. Furthermore, the wristband grants the right to enter the Athlete’s Garden and to use the massage services of the “Relax Team”

Racers and relay members who successfully complete the competition will receive a unique finisher t-shirt and a medal in the finish line.  

All finishers will receive a diploma via e-mail with their finish line photo and time result. 

Doping control can be expected. 

Awards:

Athletes who reach the 1st to 3rd place of each age group (evaluated in 5 year sections), will receive medals. 

Teams and also relay teams who reach the 1st to 3rd place  will receive prizes.

The entry for the Nagyatád eXtremeMan 2022  race can be done exclusively online. The entry fee can be paid only via bankcard/credit card.

We maintain a discount in the eXtremeMan race series for all returning racers!

All entered racers, who have completed the Nagyatád eXtremeMan once, 10 times, or 20 times will receive an additional 10%–20%–30% discount. 

Canceling the entry:

To cancel, first select the race you wish to cancel at the “My Entry” tab. You have to choices: cancel with transferring back the entry fee or cancel with crediting Your account. In this case the handling fee is more favourable and You can use this balance to pay for Your next entry.

In case of Package Entry, only the cancelling of the full package is optional. 

The deadlines and handling fees of canceling the race of Nagyatád eXtremeMan 2021 are as follows: 

For individuals and relays:
25.06.2022. HUF 12.000 (transfering back), HUF 6.000 (crediting)

In case of package:
15.05.2022. HUF 20.000 Ft (transfering back), HUF 10.000 (crediting)
