The organizing committee of eXtremeMan Nagyatád 2023 congratulates all participants !

"The word is torn, the voice is caught,
Breath is broken" (hungarian quote)

Indeed, I was almost at a loss for words.

Only a few fat tears remained. 

So we'll try to be formal and write down as a first thought: 

The organizing committee of eXtremeMan Nagyatád 2023 thanks all the competitors for (despite the inclement weather) - came, started and finished.

In the last week before the race, we were all cutting the centimetres together with familiar trepidation, looking forward to this day, preparing for it. 

All of Nagyatád was waiting for the eXtremeMan Nagyatád 2023. 

We caressed our lawns, we lit up the city and we waited for you with a guard of more than five hundred stewards dressed and prepared for the event.   

We were hoping that this year we might be able to hold the event in smiling weather. 

It was not to be. The list of difficult conditions is long. 

And yet: 5 August 2023 will live in our memories as a holiday. 

Because those who were here, those who were present, felt what we organisers felt: that love is present in Nagyatád, and that this, the power of love, is our main supporter.

We thank the Hungarian Triathlon Federation, the local governments involved in the race and all our supporters for making it possible for us,

to keep the lights of one of the beacons of our beloved sport, the eXtremeMan Nagyatád, still on. 

As the mayor announced at the closing results ceremony, we will do our utmost to keep this beacon of light shining for many, many of our fellow athletes.   

Next year, there will be another eXtremeMan Nagyatád, a jubilee annual event, the 35th eXtremeMan Nagyatád. 

We are waiting for you again, get ready, because the way is the goal !
