eXtremeMan Nagyatád - 2025. August 10. Sunday

On Sunday ? But why ?

After the 35th anniversary of eXtremeMan Nagyatád, we decided to go further, and organise the Longest Day of the Year for the 36th time, eXtremeMan Nagyatád.

We had to examine several "basic conditions" at the same time and then we felt that this was the decision we had to make.

Of course, at first hearing, Sunday was a strange choice for us too, but as we continued to dissect the what's in favour question, we liked this line-up more and more.

So we will stay at the end of the week after the triathlon junior championships and we will not wander further !

Our current plans include, to hold the grand opening on Friday 8 August 2025, followed by an extended opening of the race office from 17:00 to 21:00, the triathlon EXPO will also open, and in the evening we will organise a pasta party alongside a cultural (music) programme.

Saturday 9 August will be a day for the family, with morning races, all-day beaching, a (free) sliding for those who have successfully completed the races, and the much-anticipated 100th (!) Cetrend race.

We won't miss the Ironman with a little science programme, and of course we'll provide a framework for a (half) hour of questions to discuss any small details that may not have been clear from the technical meeting slides.

On 10 August, we plan to start the field in the same order as we did in 2024, and your feedback shows that it worked well:

( "just for fun" relay, individual runners, prize-winning relays, and then the middle distance variations )

In the cycling segment of the race, we are planning "only" to change the 4 x 30km small circuits, so that there will be an opportunity for a refreshment in Tarany village during the 4 x 30km small circuits.

We really hope that many of you will stay for the results announcement on Monday.

The good news is that we will be able to return to the renovated Sports Hall with the results announcement !
